HISTORY OF THE ARTISAN CLUTCH
In 2009 while living in downtown Nashville Beth created
a purse by sewing two vintage buttons to an art canvas. She folded the purse and stitched the sides. There was no clasp or magnet to hold it closed and no lining on the inside. Just a raw, accidental, and explorative moment.
She carried the clutch to a few events, and it sparked
great interest within her immediate creative
and fashionable village. Thus, what is now known
as the "artisan clutches" was born.
The tiny studio with the orange door.
The very first hand painted canvas "artisan clutch" Beth created.
